The Langweerder Sloep was originally a lifeboat, designed for the Baltic Sea. Due to this history, the Langweerder Sloep represents reliability and stability. Moreover, the sloop is easy to handle and very comfortable.
The Cabin design gives this sloop a tough and comfortable appearance. With extra wide gunwales and the hull shape, the Langweerder Sloep 8.50 Cabin is also called the most stable sloop. Besides the same basic design as the Classic, the Cabin Standard is upholstered inside and there are teak handles on the cabin. Also not missing are the 4 portholes, a spray hood with rear tent and an adjustable driver's seat.
